Roads/Highways
37th Street Connector and Monroe Avenue Roundabout
City of Loveland, CO
OVERVIEW

To significantly improve vehicle, bike, and pedestrian connectivity, J-U-B provided design services for the 37th Street Roadway Connector project that extends from Highway 287 to Monroe Avenue.

This large-scale infrastructure project included a new bridge over the Dry Creek Channel and a roundabout design at the intersection of 37th Street and Monroe Avenue. The roadway configuration for the connector resembles the 2-Lane Minor Arterial Street design meeting County standards. Improvements include a new travel lane in each direction, bike lanes, center turn lanes, striping, curb and gutter, drainage, pedestrian paths, utility coordination/relocation, and easement/right of way acquisition.

The 37th Street Connector Project was combined with two adjacent infrastructure projects and advertised as one package to optimize the City’s funding and reduce impacts.
