Pocatello, ID – This transportation study evaluated a section of the US‑30 corridor in Pocatello, Idaho for existing traffic conditions, forecasted future traffic, and worked with the public stakeholders to examine current issues.

While the Chubbuck‑Pocatello staff expressed difficulty in developing a signal coordination plan, J‑U‑B was able to develop a signal coordination plan to help the agencies using VISSIM microsimulation software. A public website was created (3P visual) where citizens could locate a concern on a map and quickly enter their comments. The J‑U‑B team used the mapped concerns to help identify projects that would be required.
